Austin Ducati’s Anthony Gobert was the first rider to appear on the hot pit lane, dressed in a brand-spanking-new set of leathers. He and his crew worked on a few minor adjustments to the bike, and they tested out their communications system, equipment that has become a standard here at the lengthy Daytona course.
When he had completed his chores, Anthony’s younger brother, Team Yamaha’s Aaron Gobert, stopped by to chat for a while.
