09:00 - Tuesday Dawns Wet--But Promising
First light on Tuesday at the Dunlop Daytona Tire Test revealed a gray and soggy landscape. However, as the sun inched its way higher, scattered patches of blue appeared in the sky, illuminating a day that was already growing warm and humid.
As of 9:00 am at the track, many of the blue patches had merged together, creating large sections of clear sky. With everyone’s eyes lifted skyward, the same questions were on every mind: How soon before we can get on the track, and how will this delay affect the course of events?
